Q: What qualifications do the guides have?
A: We only work with experienced North American guides and local
guides and assistants. The lead guide of each trip is accredited
with Wilderness First Aid, has a Class 4 Drivers License, Alliance
certification, and is a member of the Guide's Association. They
also have naturalist, rescue and cooking skills. All of our guides
and assistants have great personalities and enjoy serving our
guests.
Q: What type of weather conditions will we likely encounter
in the area?
A: Normal conditions in Belize are sub-tropical; sunny and warm
with temperatures averaging between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius
or 74 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Evening temperatures drop a little,
but generally remain warm and comfortable throughout the day and
night. The dry season runs from late November to early May.
Q: Do we accept children, and will they have a good time?
A: Yes, we do accept children and they have a great time! We undertake
educational and fun activities for children as well as adults.
We try to coordinate tour groups with children in conjunction
with other families. Also, it is important to us to ensure that
there is a back up plan for children in our activities if they
get too tired.
Q: What will the meals be like?
A: Meals are provided for the duration of our trips. We pride
ourselves in serving scrumptious meals using local fresh food
or dining at highly recommended establishments. If you have any
dietary concerns or requests please advise us in advance so that
